Three mobile have had a lot of catching up to do. The network was once notorious for low 3 network coverage due to the fact that they were a new network. Low network mobile phone coverage means that consumers may find it difficult to perform functions on their mobile phones. These functions could be sending texts, receiving calls or surfing the net. Being unable to connect to 3 mobile coverage may mean that consumers are paying for a service which they are either unable to use or have difficulty using.
Being able to keep in touch with friends, family and the world is increasingly important with consumers who are used to being able to instantly connect to the internet and get the information they want. In recent years, however, Three has caught up with its rivals, offering 98% 3 network coverage in the UK. Three has worked hard to ensure that it has more coverage in areas which were previously lacking.
Areas may not get coverage for a number of reasons. Living in a flat for example, can dramatically reduce network signal. Living in a mountainous area or an area with hills may also make it difficult to get 3 coverage as the signal will be unable to reach the phone.
To fully understand what coverage you can expect, consumers simply click on the 'Check Coverage' button at the top of the page. This will open a new window with the 3 coverage checker map.
From here, consumers enter their postcode into the box on the left of the screen, choosing whether you want to check coverage for your mobile phone or broadband. Click 'search.'
The map will then be coloured in, with darker areas being where the best coverage is. To the left of this map, consumers will be given information regarding indoor and outdoor 3 network coverage, as well as any maintenance scheduled in the area.
On this page consumers can also rate their 3 coverage and report issues so if you're having difficulty with your coverage, you can report it or find out what's going on.
Find what's important to you with the Search box. To use the 'search' box in the table, type in what you'd like to see. For example, if you want 500 minutes for your new contract, type in '250'. If you want 600MB, type in '600MB' and the table will change to show your specifications.

terrible indoor signal downstairs in my house, in fact most of the time i have to run upstairs just to get a signal to make a call. I believe 3 concentrate more on there data connection the phone calls.
